[gs-devel] upcoming freeze for the 8.63 release

All,

We have the the 8.63 release of Ghostscript and the corresponding  
1.53 release of Ghostpdl coming up. We're going to freeze in two  
weeks: July 28 will be the last day for non-critical changes,  
targeting an August 1st release date.

This is quite soon, so if you have any serious code changes you think  
can be complete before release, they should start going in now to  
allow for unexpected problems.
