The fateful day has arrived, and we're in code freeze. I'll do a
release candidate in a few hour for wider testing. Our goal is to do
the final release on August 1st.
There's been a flurry of last minute commits over the weekend. Please
hold any further changes you'd like to make until after the release.
If you have any issues you feel are release critical, please flag
them as critical in the bug tracker and bring them up for discussion
here.
Outstanding issues I'm aware of:
* Ray wanted to set COMPILE_INITS=1 for the default MSVC build. It
doesn't look like this has happened yet.
* Is the CID font substitution issue resolved?
Things we were hoping to get in which I now assume will wait until
after the release:
* Ken's C rewrite of the colour space parsing code
* My AES encryption support
* Ray's move of the postscript library into the Resource tree
and merge of geninit's functionality into mkromfs.
Thanks for everyone's hard work getting things polished up. I'm
looking forward to the end of the week.
