There have been problems with PDFs created by that application before, but 
that doesn't mean this particular PDF is invalid. You may have uncovered a 
Ghostscript bug.

Does the file open with Acrobat ? We generally try to match Acrobat's 
behaviour with 'problem' files, as far as possible. If it does open, you 
could create a new report in the Bugzilla tracker:

http://bugs.ghostscript.com/enter_bug.cgi

Please attach the file if you do, its not really possible to comment 
further without seeing the actual PDF file.

It is possible this has already been fixed (though I can't see any likely 
recent fixes), in which case you could take a copy of the current head 
code, or wait a few days until the next release (8.63) goes though.
