Used, built, work with every day :-) Windows Vista business in my case 
though I doubt if there are likely to be any differences on other versions 
as far as Ghostscript is concerned.

*Adobe* 5 ? Perhaps you mean Visual C version 5 (which seems unlikely, 
that's ancient) ?

Or Acrobat 5 (PDF 1.4), though I can't see the relevance since Ghostscript 
doesn't 'use' any Adobe products that I'm aware of.

Don't know of any Adobe product which 'uses' kernel mode, that's device 
driver-only territory, and not all of those.

I'm not sure what your problem is, you haven't really described one. 
Ghostscript isn't a printer driver, perhaps you mean Redmon the port monitor ?

Maybe if you could describe your problem, and what you are trying to 
achieve, I could offer some suggestions. I can certainly experiment under 
Vista and let you know the result.
