Tried the file with the current HEAD revision, and the graphic renders for me.

That's a pretty old version, the current version is 8.62.

I'd suggest getting a more recent version of Ghostscript, and trying a 
command-line conversion rather than using GSview. If this still doesn't 
work, you can raise a bug report and someone will investigate further.
