Dear All,

I need to aggregate, multiple postscripts files and manage the page numbering of the target postscript file.

I have the following files:

File1.ps $B"*(J A4 pages
File2.ps $B"*(J A3 pages
File3.ps $B"*(J A3 pages
File4.ps $B"*(J A4 pages

Today to generate the target file, I concatenate (using the unix cat command) the files: File1.ps + File2.ps + File3.ps + File4.ps --> Final.ps

The Final file is well printed, even if it$B!G(Js not a $B!H(Jwell formed$B!I(J file (%%EOF) in the middle.

Softwares availables on my platform are limited to:
GNU Ghostscript 8.56
HP UX Unix

My questions:
1) What is the best way to manage aggregation of my files (In order to get a well formed file?
2) How could I $B!H(Jwatermark$B!I(J my final file with complete page number?

Best regards,
Patrice Brossier
