John,
If you have deleted the ghostscript directory, without using the uninstaller, then
there are two groups of registry entries to remove.
The entry in the Control Panel, Uninstall Program, is everything under
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\GPL Ghostscript 9.04
The entry used by GSview to located Ghostscript is:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\GPL Ghostscript\9.04
That is, the 9.04 entry causes the 9.04 entry in GSview Options, Easy Configure.
As with everthing in the registry, take care. If using Windows 7, then you'll need
to "Run as administrator" to be able to make these changes.
