[Gs-text-api] interactive execution & display of results ?

hello;

I'm not sure whether gs-text-api would be a right list for this question,
but it seemed like it might be close enough, so:


Is there a way to set ghostscript to display the 'results' of interactive
execution?


  e.g. : after entering

       1 2 add

  at the GS> prompt, the desired result would be to see

       3

  somewhere, as a result.


      

Incidentally, I'm trying to learn PostScript; been going from Adobe's
PostScript Reference Manual. Being able to see the results of execution,
something like that, should be a help.
