[mac-gs] Mac equivalent for RedMon?

Is there a Mac (and OS X) equivalent for RedMon? I'd like to be able 
to define a printer that will pass PS output along to ghostscript to be 
distilled into PDF the same way I can now with Acrobat Distiller. More 
specifically, I'd like to be able to write an app that I can preprocess 
the PS stream before handing it along to ghostscript. (For that matter, 
I could simply call the ghostscript shlib internally, I suppose.) 

In any case, I'd like it to be as transparent for my users as Print2PDF, 
but I'd like it if I could leverage the existing Apple print drivers.

Any suggestions?
