[mac-gs] Ghostview for Mac

I am using MacGSView version 2.0b3.
I was trying to export a picture in TIFF format, but it did not work. 
MacGSView did not write the picture to disk. Do you have any hints on 
what is wrong? Do I need any additional extensions or the like? 
I am using MacOS 8.6 on an iMac.
