[mac-gs] Compiling the head with Metrowerks 7

Erik and I discussed this privately, but I wanted to mention for the 
benefit of the list that these issues have all now been resolved.

In addition the new 7.30 testing release (and current cvs) construct 
CW7 project files by default, rather than CW6 as before. The code 
itself is the same, but a number of libraries have changed names and 
dependencies, so I felt this was the most helpful option for new users.
