Hi, Berndt,
Sorry, hope I spelt your name right!
I've been working on carbonising MacGSView recently, and just happened to
spot your OSX version of it lying around the mirror.cs.wisc.edu (or whatever
it is...) server. Could you send it to me, or put it in public CVS or
something so I can have a look at it/fiddle with it?
It seems my version is in a similar state to yours--no printing yet but
compiles and runs OK--mine seems to be free of the interface aesthetic
problems that yours has--don't know why! Maybe just a CodeWarrior/PowerPlant
difference. I say 'runs OK', but that probably isn't really true, as I
haven't managed to get a carbonised version of the GhostScript library yet
(haven't tried). Hopefully I just need to link GhostScript against a
carbonised C library to get it to work...will soon see...
Anyway, I'd love to have a look at your code and compare it to mine, if
you're happy to make it available. You can generally email about 5 MB of
stuff to this email address, or I can grab sources from the web or remote
CVS or something.
I'm happy to work with you a bit on getting this fully functional on OSX,
though, like you I think, my time is in quite short supply!
Cheers,
Ben.
