mvrhel2 what time and where are we meeting in the morning?04:07.13
ray_droid: do you know what time we are meeting tomorrow?04:08.20
  or marcosw_ or Robin_Watts..04:08.40
  or robin_watts_mac04:14.32
cipri hi. Does anyone know if there exists documentation about MuPDF ? I started writing a pdf viewer based on mupdf, and I would like to know more about MuPDF11:07.43
robin_watts_mac No documentation other than the source ode, I believe, but feel free to ask questions here.11:19.53
  Morning chrisl_x100 11:20.20
chrisl_x100 morning robin_watts_mac 11:20.41
cipri does somebody know if I can find here a MuPDF developer?11:26.40
robin_watts_mac cipri: You walk tor8 ideally, but I can field some questions.11:34.34
  s/walk/want/11:34.42
  or sebras.11:34.51
cipri tor8 uses to come here?11:35.42
my problem is, that mupdf seems to be not documented. In the source code I see just a few comments. And I would like to know if they have somewhere else a better documentation11:36.32
robin_watts_mac cipri: Yes, but at the moment we're at a staff meeting in Chicago, so time zones are all screwed up.11:36.41
cipri, the docs are the example apps. Documentation is lacking, yes.11:37.10
cipri yes, I saw them, and based on that i made a basic pdfviewer, but I will a little un-secure/unsave making something based on a code that i dont understand what is really happening.11:38.07
something else i noticed. I saw notice that sumatraPDF which is based on mupdf, has a smaller binary than MuPDF. I mean, sumatrapdf has a more complex GUI, but it is at the same time smaller.11:40.44
robin_watts_mac The mupdf binaries pickle the fonts/cmaps into them.11:41.48
sumatra may have them as files on disk.11:41.59
  Morning kens11:42.26
kens Morning Robin_Watts11:58.02
chrisl_x100 Did we say 8:30 for breakfast, as usual? I've had a sudden attack of uncertainty12:53.09

chrisl_x100 Good, thanks12:53.34

chrisl_x100 No, me neither12:54.08
kens Well I'm sure it can't be hard to find12:54.20
chrisl_x100 Well, the "Restaurants and Lounges" section of the welcome folder in my room is empty, so maybe they are trying to hide it.......12:55.31
kens Hmm, goes to check12:55.43
Choose from O'H American grill (lobby level)12:56.31
  Red Bar (lobby level)12:56.41
  Perks coffee shop (entrance level)12:56.57
  Grill does breakfast12:57.21
  looks the most likely12:57.46
chrisl_x100 So, it's just me they're trying to keep in the dark then - fair enough......12:58.07
kens Didn't work though :-)12:58.20
chrisl_x100 No, it really is true - the internet is the place to access all information ;-)12:59.02

robin_watts_mac morning13:15.06
mvrhel2 good morning13:15.11
see you shortly in the lobby it looks like13:15.21
robin_watts_mac indeed. Just packing up now.13:15.30
sebras robin_watts_mac: I'm still at work, so sorry for not helping out this morning. :)14:33.15
detrate on CentOS 5.8, the latest ghost script appears to be 8.70-6 and I'm getting a font issue, specially with arial http://z.4sm.biz/screenshots/clippings/83198dba79510b7e25041b813ba496374efa16ac.png15:52.41
does anyone have a suggestion as to how I go about resolving this?15:52.57
  ghostscript-fonts-5.50-13.1.1.noarch if that makes a difference.15:56.23
  for my fonts15:56.29
chrisl_x100 detrate: as we've recently Ghostscript 9.04, and it now comes with the fonts in the archive, we're way past supporting 8.70. I suggest you try the latest release.16:06.54
detrate chrisl_x100: any tips on getting the latest version running on CentOS?16:08.53
chrisl_x100 detrate: You can download the latest release http://www.ghostscript.com/download/gsdnld.html16:11.18
detrate ok16:12.29
chrisl_x100 You'd want the source. Unzip/untar it, "./configure" then "make" should get you a build. But how you'd install it for CentOS, I can't really comment - our default install target may not be appropriate. You should talk to someone that know about CentOS for that.16:12.56
detrate okay, thank you.16:15.43
