sags @mvrhel_laptop (?), for the logs: It looks there is an uninitialized variable used in gsicc_cache.c::gsicc_get_link(). VS2003 gives a warning, and by examining the code I agree. I don't have a test case that fails though, so I'm not opening a bug report.05:43.38
  There are 2 places where this happens (line numbers refer to master at 0cefc049bdd1eee78f14c97129627af766e022c9):05:43.53
  line #523 in "return gsicc_get_link_profile(..., dev_profile->device_profile[0], ...)" and 05:43.53
  line #544 in "if (... == dev_profile->device_profile[0]->num_comps) ...".05:43.53
  The same variable is used later too, but this time initialized by line #567 "code = dev_proc(dev, get_profile)(dev, &dev_profile);".05:44.13
mvrhel_laptop sags: what is unintialized there?05:49.49
