rayjj | Robin_Watts: mvrhel: Since the thresholding code I have matches the HT tiling code so much better, what do you think about first doing a commit with USE_FAST_HT_CODE set to 0, then my fix for the thresholding with it re-enabled. | 01:01.49 |
| Robin_Watts: mvrhel: the point is to have the regression for the thresholding changes show any actual differences | 01:02.29 |
| I tested a bunch of different DITHERPPI settings at 300 dpi, using an image I created that has 256 shades width=height=16 and I now match the non-fast HT tiling code for all that I tested (18, 24, 30, 33, 39, 52, 60). | 02:17.27 |
ManDay | Good morning | 07:14.02 |
| Here is a PDF file which I've created on an ereader. The software on the reader allows to add textual and handwritten annotations (like sticky notes). I can view and modify them on the reader but I haven't found any application for Linux which can display them (when I click on it, nothing happens). I've read MuPDF does support annotations but with version 1.7a clicking on them doesn't do anything: | 07:16.24 |

sebras | tor8: hm.. there is something about these drops that I don't get yet. | 09:03.03 |
| tor8: when is FZ_ERROR_SYNTAX supposed to be used? it's not used today so I guess I shouldn't be using it when parsing input data..? | 10:00.28 |
asdfffdsa | the "pdfwriter" device has a "-dPDFSETTINGS=" option which can be set to "screen", "ebook", and "printer" for different DPIs, but is there a way to set the DPI explicitly? | 15:18.08 |
| OK, found it | 15:46.55 |
rayjj | asdfffdsa: Have you read the docs? http://www.ghostscript.com/doc/current/Ps2pdf.htm There are myriad settings for controlling the Color/Gray/Mono DownsampleThreshold enabling the Downsampling for each and setting the ImageResolution for each, along with being able to set an overall resolution for the PDF using -r### | 19:57.39 |
| asdfffdsa: the http://www.ghostscript.com/doc/current/Ps2pdf.htm#Options area has the parameters defined and the table shows what the defaults are for PDFSETTINGS correspond to by default | 19:59.34 |
asdfffdsa | that's exactly what i found | 23:10.42 |
| but you're gone | 23:10.45 |
