Aamir Any one there?12:09.27
I want to apply pagecurl effect on Android12:09.38
i have used MuPdf sdk, is it possible to apply pagecurl effect on MuPdf library?12:10.04
  ??12:10.45
sebras Aamir: hi! most of the mupdf developers are attending a meeting in the US right now.12:13.28
Aamir So when are they available?12:13.56
sebras Aamir: you can give the mupdf library a .pdf-file and have it render to a image bitmap. the pagecurl effect you will need to draw yourself on top of this. mupdf does not itself implement any similar effect as far as I know.12:16.07
Aamir: I'm not sure exactly when they will be back, but usually their meetings take a few days.12:16.58
Aamir alright12:23.47
i was also thinking the same, just wanted to confirm weather it is possible or not 12:24.18
  without using image 12:24.23
  thanks for your response12:24.28
  have a nice day!12:24.33
kens marcosw ping14:45.04
marcosw kens: yes?14:45.25
kens The customer PCL file runs for me under the PCL interpreter14:45.39
The output is the same gibberish as the PDF file14:45.51
  I can't produce a PDF/A-1 file though14:46.12
Because our PCL fonts have multiple CMAP subtables, and that's not legal in PDF/A-114:46.35
marcosw it does for me as well on my macpro but not my macbook. This is the second PCL file I’ve had trouble with on my macbook pro, so it’s clearly my problem.14:46.52
kens I'll need to give that some thought14:46.53
marcosw kens: right.14:47.04
kens Hmmm, odd but I'd have to agree14:47.09
Could it be compiler versions ?14:47.44
marcosw gcc —version says they are the same. same operating system version as well. I’m trying a clean git clone.14:48.22
kens Most strange, I'll leave it to you14:48.36
marcosw thx :-(14:48.46
kens: nope, clean clone doesn’t work either. must be libraries or an environment variable.14:50.07
kens Yes that is very strange. I have no clue, maybe Chris would have some ideas14:50.41
marcosw the binary executable size is slightly different…14:51.28
kens Interesting, but then we know there is a difference :-)14:51.44
marcosw kens: turns out it’s not the binary. the executable built on the macpro fails on them macbookpro (and vice versa). 15:04.55
kens Intriguing15:09.34
sebras kens: yes, as is the number of people coming here asking for a pagecurl effect. I have never really liked those effects anyway...15:30.24
kens sebras, yeah I think its a stupid idea.15:31.34
can't remember the term for it, but it seems daft to me15:31.48
I believe its possible, but we don't do it.15:32.09
jogux marcosw: could we get some new bugzilla bits in ghostdocs please? OS: iOS 8, iOS 9, Component: epage core16:31.02
  or maybe just 'iOS'16:31.27
marcosw jogux: are the iOS bugs usually os dependent? 16:31.55
jogux not too much I don't think. We don't have all the different Android versions :)16:32.20
is there a way for customers to enter bugs direct into ghostdocs btw?16:34.57
marcosw no, the ghostdocs bugs are only visible to artifex staff. We could possibly allow customers to enter bugs and then only see the bugs they have entered, but I’m not sure how practical that is.16:37.46
jogux I think currently customers can see bugs we open if we CC them, but (I think) can't enter them16:38.57
marcosw I’ll look into it.16:39.36
jogux: added ios8 and ios9, since we alreay had ios4-ios7.16:39.54
jogux thanks16:39.59
marcosw: from a quick read is sounds like it should be possible to give a user only 'entry' ('create bug') permission to ghostdocs (and then because they'd be reported they could still see their own bugs in ghostdocs I think).16:48.51
marcosw jogux: right, I think i’ve done it. 17:20.09
jogux marcosw: awesome17:20.35
I'll need to get the customer to create an account then :-)17:20.45
marcosw jogux: I can’t help you with that :-)17:22.24
jogux :)17:25.29
marcosw henrys: remind me what the GhostPCL command line option is to turn on tracing in the debug build17:49.48
henrys: nevermind, it’s -ZI# (or at least that’s the one you suggested I use).17:53.03
