ManDay | How come that a PDF which was re-done by ghostsscript (for cropping) is 7.3 megabytes though the original was 4 megabytes and mostly contained only vector graphics? Is there something besides the re-encoding of pixel graphis that could cause size to blow up? | 07:45.09 |
kens | ManDay I don't know what you mean by 're-encoding of pixel graphs'. However there are many reasons why a PDF file created by pdfwrite ight be larger than its input. So many possible reasons that we cannot even guess. If you want an answer you will have to post the file publicly somewhere, adn tell us what command line you used. | 15:45.20 |
