But when rewriting said pdfs with newer gs, they become compatible with the old one without errors. Iow the new gs generates error-free ps/pdf silently, from the inputs which seem to have problems or use new features not supported in older | 06:16.37 |

I'm not sure what your point is, you seem to be complaining that an old version of Ghostscript has trouble with certain files, but that a newer version of Ghostscript has no problems with them. This does not surprise me, we fix bugs and add enhencements all the time. Is there some point I'm missing ? NB GS 9.02 is 5 yearsw old, maybe you should just upgrade | 08:16.02 |
