kens Brettk80 : From the messages you are getting I'd have to guess that your TIFF file is broken. Most likely one of the tag fields (height or width) has an unfeasibly large value. Without seeing your TIFF file I can't really say for sure.08:03.28
If you're on a Linux system you could try tiffdump to see what the tag values are08:03.41
kens doubts any of our code is involved in this, except MuPDF08:04.15
sebras Brettk80: are you able to share the TIFF file you mention?16:25.40
Brettk80: either the file is defective (like kens mentioned) or there is a bug in the TIFF decoder. without looking at the TIFF file it is impossible to know which one it is.16:26.56
Brettk80: your messages prodded me to look back at a directory of old test TIFF where I found some problematic ones.21:04.10
Brettk80: one of them exhibited the same error message that you mentioned: https://github.com/chai2010/tiff/blob/master/testdata/www.fileformat.info/G32DS.TIF?raw=true21:04.31
Brettk80: I believe I found the cause and I have a tentative patch at http://git.ghostscript.com/?p=user/sebras/mupdf.git;a=commitdiff;h=b2c820e11bdec61fc38dde8d7d0fd3b35fc7ccfa;hp=58e7fcda85101e17dbe29185e55b74e22d20d4a321:05.13
Brettk80: if this resolves your issue, I'd be happy to hear about it.21:05.44
Brettk80 @sebras thanks I will check it out22:35.26
@sebras when I try to compile from your git repo I get https://thepasteb.in/p/P1hvWwNXPnqTl23:59.15
