jtth | morning / evening all | 13:45.56 |
kens | mid afternoon :-) | 13:46.09 |
chrisl | jtth: There's a new DLL build for you to try out: https://ghostscript.com/~chrisl/gsdll32metro-20170719.zip | 13:47.09 |
jtth | Great! I'll give it a go | 13:47.54 |
| chrisl : beautiful. The dll loads great! Unfortunately though the stingy Hololens isn't creating my files dynamically so something for me to dig through now... | 14:28.04 |
chrisl | jtth: that probably suggests you need to sort out the stdio hooks kens talked about yesterday - so you can see any errors/warnings gs emits | 14:29.22 |
| One thing that does come to mind is temp files - gs might try to open temp files | 14:29.57 |
jtth | Quite honestly I think it has to do with the Hololens not having access to specific areas in memory.... | 14:31.32 |
| Here's why: when I run the code to convert my pdf to a series of images, my program allows the user to scroll through the pages of the pdf, and when they close the pdf it deletes the files | 14:32.02 |
| When I try to convert, it just returns false on the function as of now. If I preload in the images that it creates when it converts, it will load the images, but when it tries to delete them, I get an UnauthorizedAccess exception | 14:32.37 |
| I think the hololens can access the memory at the location, but it cant create/delete | 14:49.01 |
| chrisl: Earlier you said, <@chrisl> jtth: sort out the stdio hooks kens talked about to see any errors/warnings gs emits | 18:31.43 |
| How? | 18:31.49 |
