GoGi | how can I convert a pdf to a pdf that looks exactly as if it would have been printed? | 14:33.49 |
| I mean, there are some PDFs that contain additional things which are displayed but not printed | 14:35.41 |
| I want to discard them | 14:35.49 |
miqlas | Guys, how do i compile ghostscript to shared lib again? | 16:05.08 |
| make so, okay i found it | 16:12.28 |
| chrisl: hi! | 17:08.14 |
| I think i found the reason, why i cant build a shared gs on Haiku | 17:08.46 |
| had to add -shared to base/unixlink.mak | 17:11.02 |
| better to say: "make so" finishes without error now, but i have no idea, how to install it, as "make so install" installs just the executables, but no lib | 17:11.35 |
| it seems "make soinstall" what i'm searching for | 17:15.15 |
camelopard | GoGi: You can force print mode with the option -dPrinted=true | 17:32.27 |
miqlas | chrisl: libraries have no main(), but "make so" tries to build and link the library as an executable. We can adjust the linker behaviour with the "--shared" arg. But afaik it is the same on every other platfroms too. | 17:39.08 |
| So the question is: is it a bug in the gs sources, or is there any check where Haiku not handled correctly so the linket doesn't gets the correct flags? | 17:39.51 |
| Any idea? | 17:39.54 |
| Other question: is it possible to build the gs executable against the libgs? Because i got 20mb gs executable and 20 mb libgs | 17:59.27 |
| umm... i think i just made a big mistake | 18:31.59 |
| it seems the "-shared" arg will not just used for the shared libs, but for everything... Ouch | 18:32.35 |
