heeen hi, I am using cups-pdf which uses gs to convert ps to pdf. if I look at the resulting pdf files, the text uses really coarse raster glyphs17:32.03
how do I get it to use truetype fonts or something else17:32.22
  GSCall %s -q -dCompatibilityLevel=%s -dNOPAUSE -dBATCH -dSAFER -sDEVICE=pdfwrite -sOutputFile="%s" -dAutoRotatePages=/PageByPage -dAutoFilterColorImages=false -dColorImageFilter=/FlateEncode17:33.07
this seems to be the commandline17:33.14
I though pdf is a shorthand subset of postscript, I'm surprised to see this conversion17:33.56
hm actually, I take that back17:35.07
looks like the printer driver is already rasterizing it17:35.21
if I feed in a simple ps file it looks good17:35.34
