byoungb | I am having issues with some square eps files getting rotated when rasterized to JPEG using ghostscript, here is the image https://bit.ly/2NB50Jc. And here is the command I am running | 16:18.52 |
| gs -dSAFER -dQUIET -dBATCH -dSTRICT -dNOPAUSE -dSHORTERRORS -sDEVICE=jpeg -dUseCIEColor -dJPEGQ=100 -dMaxBitmap=500000000 -sOutputFile=/tmp/tmpFETsuu.jpg -dGraphicsAlphaBits=4 -dEPSFitPage -g4082x4082 /tmp/tmpB2W37U.eps | 16:18.53 |
| I just upgraded yesterday to get the exploit patches and so I was running version 9.07 on CentOS 7. And now am running 9.25, but I also see this issue on my unpatched 9.23 version running on Fedora | 16:20.26 |
| It seems to only affect square images. So on 9.07 the orientation is correct but in <~9.23 something changed | 16:22.06 |
| It looks like it may be related to this stack overflow question https://bit.ly/2POnDKW | 16:27.46 |
| So it seems to be something relates to EPSFitPage and the square dimensions | 16:34.03 |
