inflex morning all.00:38.22
mupdfy hello world08:26.57
could somebody please tell what does the button with the chain on the android toolbar version of mupdf?08:27.57
kens activates links I believe08:30.09
mupdfy is it a security issue?08:40.54
kens Umm, no, what makes you think that ?08:41.07
mupdfy why do the developers put a button on a toolbar in a mobile piece of software only to activate or deactivate links?08:43.16
kens You'd have to ask the MuPDF developers, but I assume so that you don't accidentally follow links while navigating the page08:43.46
If you want to talk to the developers, your best bet is to come here Monday to Friday, office hours for Europe08:45.37
mupdfy no need for that I think I got it, turning pages back and forward by touchind the right or left part of the screen make you follow the link if you touch the screen where the link is, so one must turn a page on a free link part, so for me this button in redundant.08:55.37
nevertheless mupdf is gorgeous, so thanks kens, at least I know why it is there now.08:59.54
kens I'm sure the developers will read the thanks, its not my project09:00.21
mupdfy the thanks is also for you, you took time to answer me.09:01.22
kens Ah well :-)09:01.30
mupdfy have a good day, bye from Germany.09:02.02
kens You too Tschuss!09:02.09
inflex Has anyone made a modification of do_page_selection() in mupdf-gl so it picks the entire word at that specific point (when right clicked) rather than having to drag-select?11:12.36
I was thinking of, from a given (right) click point, expand a rectangle until the first letter is found, then search back & forward for the first whitespace.11:20.06
Managed to modify the fz_enumerate_selection() to handle when start == end, but stumbling on some of the characters, presumably because they're not plain ASCII, some being UTF I suppose?13:48.11
  ( all sorted out )14:03.16
avih inflex: utf8 shouldn't matter, as you only look for delimiters which i suppose are all ascii < 12714:19.29
inflex avih, thanks. Did find it was just a bit of a bad bit of coding on my behalf... as usual.14:36.17
( I wasn't considering the situation where sometimes the first character was the first node in the line )14:38.38
